Noah Kai Grabe, infant son of Jon and Danielle Grabe of 3350 26th Ave., Marion, was born silently into this world Monday, June 16, 2003, at St. Luke?s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Services: 11 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2003, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by Rev. Randy Nash. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 - 7 p.m. Thursday (June 19.) Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Surviving are his parents, Jon and Danielle; two brothers, Tyler and Nicholas, who were eagerly awaiting his arrival; maternal grandparents, Melanie and Bryan Abel of Cedar Rapids and Dennis and Cathy Fish of Marion; paternal grandfather, Arno Grabe of Cedar Rapids; maternal great-grandparents, Nadine Klaner of Cedar Rapids, Charles and Ann Ellis of Fairfax, Darlene Abel of Ottumwa and Ray and Cleo Fish of Waterloo; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Patricia Grabe; and his maternal great-grandfather, Charles Abel.
Even though Noah was only with us for a very short time, he has already touched many lives.
A memorial fund has been established in honor of Noah.
