Nicholas Peterson
September 19, 1983 — November 4, 2009
Nicholas Peterson, 26, formerly of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 4th, 2009, after suffering an accidental injury. A visitation will take place from 4 - 7 p.m. Sunday, November 8th, at Murdoch Funeral Home in Marion. Celebration of Life services: 11 a.m. Monday at New Life Community Church at W. 29th Ave Marion.
Nicholas is survived by his parents Jeff and Annette Peterson of Marion, sister Eryn (John) Bauer of Marion, brother Chris (Stephanie) Peterson of Cedar Rapids, and sister Abbey (Isaac) Altdorfer of Omaha, Nebraska.
Nicholas was born in Iowa City September 19, 1983, and graduated from Marion High School 2002. He received an associate’s degree from Kirkwood Community College and pursued a Business degree at Kaplan University. Nicholas worked at Iowa Health Systems in Cedar Rapids prior to taking a position as the Desktop Administer for South Bend Clinic of Indiana. Nicholas has attended Antioch and Eastview Christian Churches. He brought laughter and joy to so many lives and will be dearly missed. He will continue to give the gift of life as an organ donor.
