Nicholas S. Pennington, 54, of Earlville, died, Friday, June 14, 2013. Funeral Mass: 1:00pm, Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Earlville. Family will greet friends from 11:00 am til service time on Wednesday at the church. Burial: St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Earlville.
Nick was born May 20, 1959 in Denver, Colorado, son of Garland and Shirley (Davis) Pennington. He married Ruth Fisk on March 18, 1989 in Loveland, Colorado. Nick was a truck driver, most recently working for Helle Trucking in Earlville.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; children, Sister M. Judith Pennington of Alton, IL, Michael (Jessica) Pennington of Dubuque, Havilah (Gaspar) Lopez of Dubuque, Sophie Allsup of Earlville, and Gabriel Pennington of Earlville; his parents, Garland and Shirley Pennington; in-laws, Lew Fisk and Alice Freeman; and a sister, Sandy (Dave) Tharp.
A memorial fund has been established in Nick’s memory.
