Nancy K. (Gorsh) Clark, 59, of 1139 20th Avenue SW, died, Wednesday, August 6, 2003, at St. Luke?s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, after a long illness. As a Christian, Nancy always showed concern for the spiritual lives of those around her. As her illnesses progressed, she longed for heaven and the day when she could be home with Jesus.
According to Nancy?s wishes, she was cremated and there will be no services. An immediate family gathering will be held. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Gene; a son, Joe of Cedar Rapids; her mother, Mary Gorsh of Cedar Rapids; and a brother, Jim (Sue) Gorsh of Clinton, Iowa;
She was preceded in death by her father, Alvah Gorsh.
Nancy was born January 27, 1944, the daughter of Alvah and Mary Mahan Gorsh, in Washington County, Iowa. A graduate from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids, she married Gene Clark on June 28, 1974. Nancy was a librarian for Joint County Library (now Grant Wood AEA) and more recently, a homemaker.
No flowers please. A memorial fund has been established in memory of Nancy.
