Myra Gene Oltmann
June 11, 1938 — July 30, 2021
Myra Gene Oltmann, 83, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, formerly of Monticello, Iowa, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 30, 2021, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa.
Myra was born on June 11, 1938, the daughter of Albert and Marie (Wiesender) Schoenbeck. She graduated from Monticello High School. In November of 1958, Myra was united in marriage to Eugene Oltmann. Her life was her family and she enjoyed crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, and painting. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived and lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Carla Oltmann and Risa Oltmann, both of Marion; granddaughter, Muriel Oltmann of Rochester, Minnesota; brother, Robert (Mary) Schoenbeck of California; sister, Joyce Stearns of Iowa City, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.
Myra was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sister, Leila; and brothers, Leland, Melvin, and David.
