Mildred Ann Lynott

Mildred Ann Lynott, 84, a resident of West Ridge Care Center, Cedar Rapids, died there Tuesday, February 21, 2006. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2006, at All Saints Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids by Father David O?Connor. Burial: Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion, where a Scripture Service will begin at 6:00 p.m.
Survivors include her husband, Patrick F. Lynott, Sr.; five children, Patrick (Sharon) Lynott, Jr. of Marshalltown, Joseph (Deborah) Lynott of Mt. Vernon, Rose (Russ) Ubben of Oelwein, Nancy Lynott (John Drozda) of Sacramento, California, and Bob (Kelly) Lynott of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Frances Daly of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Dennis Zelezny of Cedar Rapids; twelve grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, John; a granddaughter, Kathleen; and a brother, Edwin.
Mildred was born July 15, 1921, the daughter of Frank and Anna (Pribek) Zelezny in Cedar Rapids. On October 8, 1940, she married Patrick F. Lynott at St. Ludmila?s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids. Together they farmed in rural Mt. Vernon, Marion and Cedar Rapids areas.
