Mildred Irene Harford, 84, of 104 Fawn Creek Circle, died Thursday, November 6, 2003, at St. Luke?s Hospital, of a long illness. Services: 1 p.m. Monday, November 10, 2003, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion by Rev. Bill Harnish. Visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery in Marion.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; five sons, Charles Harford and wife Deloras of Littleton, Colorado, David Harford and wife Doreen of Central City, Jerry Harford and wife Linda of Anamosa, Stanley Harford and wife Marjorie of Littleton, Colorado and Steve Harford and wife Donna of Cedar Rapids; two daughters, Penny Franck and husband Dean of Marion and Cindy Webber and husband Dale of Englewood, Colorado; thirty-four grandchildren; and fifty-one great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Dorothy Odean of Marion, Barbara Sabo and husband Bob of Cedar Rapids and Rheta Hunte and husband Bob of Springville; and a brother, Frank Etzel and wife Phyllis of Garden City, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mildred was born January 26, 1919, in Alburnett, the daughter of Frank and Lillian Etzel. She married Donald James Harford on January 17, 1937, in Marion.
