Mildred "Milli? Drummond Zimmerman, 74, of 9500 Club Road, Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, January 18, 2005, at Mercy Medical Center following a long illness. Services: 10:30 a.m., Friday, January 21, 2005, at Sharon United Methodist Church by Rev. Jack Hooten and Rev. Francis Zimmerman. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m., Thursday, January 20, 2004, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her husband, Glen; her grandchildren, Richard Lacy and Marie Bean; her brothers and sisters, Dolly Housinga of Brandengen, Florida, Inez Wilkens of Morrison, Illinois, Leona Self of York Town, Virginia, Lois Foster of Clinton, Iowa, Irene Charneski of Fulton, Illinois and Pauline Corkill of Palmdale, California; her step-children, Gary Drummond, Bernie Drummond, Teri Wolstenholme, Glenda Taylor, Tina O?Quinn, Rocky Zimmerman, Laurie Zimmerman, Janis Diederich and Glen Zimmerman, Jr.; many great grandchildren; step-grandchildren and many step-great-granchildren; and a special friend, Pat Landt of Cedar Rapids.

She was preceded in death by a son, Richard Bean; her husband, Sam Drummond; her parents; a sister, Dorothy Foster; and two brothers, Roy Houzenga and Howard Houzenga.

Milli was born October 15, 1930, the daughter of Aleck and Rena (Ven Huizenga) Houzenga in Morrison, Illinois. On August 26, 1966, she married Sam Drummond. He passed away on February 26, 1986. Milli married Glen Zimmerman on January 20, 1999. She worked at Square D for 29 years before retiring. Milli was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church, Machinist Union, Painting Pals in Central City and the Quilters of Sharon United Methodist Church.

She was a loving individual who touched the lives of many people. She will be missed by all.
