Michael Blaine Modrow

Michael Blaine Modrow, 41, of 508 3rd Ave. SW, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, near Waterloo, from injuries sustained in an accident. Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Monday, June18, 2007, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Inurnment: Veterans National Cemetery in Keokuk at a later date.
Survivors include his children, Matthew Blaine Modrow, Christopher James Modrow, and Shawna Lynn Modrow, all of Cedar Rapids; his parents, Marlan and Linda Modrow of Outing, Minnesota; his grandmothers, Dorothy Miller of Rugby, North Dakota and Naomi Modrow of Devil’s Lake, North Dakota; his sister, Raeyna Longtin and husband Shane of Cottage Grove, Minnesota; and a niece, Jordan Longtin of Cottage Grove, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Glenn Miller and Marvin Modrow.
Michael was born October, 20, 1965, the son of Marlan and Linda (Miller) Modrow in Cedar Rapids. He married Ruth Ann Richardson on November 15, 1986, in Marion. Michael served in the U.S. Air Force for eight years. He worked for fifteen years as a computer technician, most recently at Technisource in Cedar Rapids.
