Michael A. Hills, 64, of Wyoming, Iowa, passed away at his home, Sunday, October 11, 2015. Memorial Gathering: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 16,2015, followed by sharing at 1 p.m., at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point, Iowa. Burial: Circle Grove Cemetery, Troy Mills with military rites.
Survivors include mother, Dorothy (Mikeal) Franks, of Anamosa, Iowa; children, Rachael (Tim) Bauer, of Walker, Iowa and Sarah (Troy) Mollenhauer, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee; brothers, Patric (Janel Johnson) Hills, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Mark (Becky) Hills, Texas; grandchildren, Natalie, Brycen and Carver; and nephews and niece.
He was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Steven.
Michael was born on August 25, 1951, son of Harold and Dorothy (Shanks) Hills, in California. He was a proud Marine serving in the Vietnam War. Michael worked as a welder and truck driver. He was a jack of all trades. Michael loved to tinker in his shop. He loved to sing and he played the guitar, piano, harmonica and the accordion. Michael enjoyed hunting and loved his grandchildren.
