Merle Verne Kramer, 91 of Miami Beach, Florida, passed away quietly in Miami Beach, on Friday, June 15, 2007, following a short illness. Graveside Services: 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2007, at Center Point Cemetery, Center Point, by Rev. James Wolf. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Center Point.
Survivors include his wife, Maria; his children, Phyllis Mills of Troy Mills, Iowa, LuLu Kramer Cayabyab of Irvine, California, and Lou Ellen Kramer of Sunrise, Florida; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Paul of Walker, Iowa, and Donavan of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Ivan; and a sister, Leona.
Merle was born November 17, 1915, the son of Ozzy and Pearl Kramer, in Walker, Iowa. He served during World War II with the United States Army and made a 30 year career with the United States Air Force.
