Maurice "Moe" Pentecost
February 16, 1959 — January 26, 2021
Maurice “Moe” Pentecost, 61, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. Maurice was born on February 16, 1959, in Manchester, Iowa, to Floyd and Louetta (Switzer) Pentecost.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Carla (French) Pentecost; children, Valarie (Joseph) Balli of Warner Robins, Georgia and Jamie (April) Pentecost of Killeen, Texas; eight grandchildren, Estrella (Mia), Kane, Benjamin, Emma, Chloe, Noah, Jeremiah, and Isiah; and brother, Myron (Marla) Pentecost.
Maurice was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Louetta (Switzer) Pentecost; daughter, Alisha; and two brothers, Butch and Ralph Pentecost.
Maurice was a long-time truck driver that enjoyed the open road and a great oldies jam playing in the background. He loved fishing, reading, and spending time with his extended family and friends. Maurice will live on in all the memories that he created and shared with them all.
