Maurice H. Bausch, 93, a resident of Palmer Hills, Bettendorf, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, February 7, 2004, following a short illness. Services: 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion, by the Rev. Lloyd Brockmeyer. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11 a.m. to service time Wednesday. Burial: Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion.

Survivors include his wife, Mary of Bettendorf; two sons, Jim Bausch and wife Suzanne of St. Louis, Missouri, and Dr. William Bausch and wife Shelley of Davenport; three grandsons, Nicholas, Jonathan and Eric Bausch; and a sister, Irene Clark of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Clarence, Clyde and Stephen; and three sisters, Grace, Hazel and Marva.

Maurice was born March 25, 1910, the son of Adolf and Mary (Renshaw) Bausch in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. On December 6, 1947, he was united in marriage to Mary Alice Crew. He was a tool and die maker at Cherry-Burrell, where he retired after forty years of service.
