Matthew W. Petrick, 51, of Des Moines, Iowa, and formerly of Manchester, died December 11, 2008 suddenly at his home.
Private family memorial service with burial will be held in the Spring. Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements.
Matt was born on May 8, 1957, in Kyunggi DO, Korea. He was the son of Wesley J. & Anna May Petrick. He attended West Delaware Schools.
Matt worked in Des Moines area restaurants. He enjoyed playing his guitar.
Matt is survived by his parents, Wesley J. & Anna May Petrick of Manchester; two sisters, Josephine Kearney of Kansas City, Missouri and Rachel [Scott] Bishop of Manchester; and a brother, John [Becky] Petrick of Eldridge and by his nieces and nephews.
