Mary L. Stewart, 62, of 2261 C Street SW, Cedar Rapids, died Friday, October 29, 2004, at home following a long illness. Graveside Services: 1:30 p.m. Monday, November 1, 2004, Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Bill Harnish. Friends may call from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Monday at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Survivors include three children, Debbie Carolus, Lisa Dillingham and Larry Burnett, all of Georgia; a sister, JoAnne Bensley of Cedar Rapids; three brothers, Clayton Black, Jr. of Cedar Rapids, Ralph Shaw of Patterson, Iowa and Stanley Shaw of Arizona; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mary was born June 8, 1942, in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Clayton and Dorothy (Smith) Black. She worked as a cook at Crestview. Mary was a member of the Council of Aging and Therapy Solutions.
