Mary was born on a farm in Linn Township on April 22, 1907. She was a caregiver and life-time member of Linn Grove Presbyterian Church. She lived in Cedar Rapids until 2001. At the age of 94, she moved to Pahrump, Nevada, to be with her family, where she resided until her death.
