Mary Ann Naeve

Mary Ann was born October 12, 1939, in Sibley, Iowa, the daughter of Sebastian and Caroline (Van Der Wilt) Groendyk. She graduated from Leeds High School and Kirkwood Community College. Mary Ann was united in marriage to Dennis Naeve on October 19, 1959, in Leeds, Iowa. She was employed as an Ultrasound Technician for Medical Associates, Cardiologist PC, and St. Luke’s Hospital. Mary Ann enjoyed crocheting, casinos, and was very crafty. She loved to birdwatch, especially blue birds.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Naeve of Toddville; daughter, Kellene (Gary) Ellexson of Rockville, Maryland; sons, Mike (Shawn) Naeve of Alburnett and Randy (Kristine) Naeve of Bertram; grandchildren, Sarah Ellexson, Leigh Ellexson, Jacqueline Naeve, Madison Naeve, and Ryan Naeve; sisters, Carolyn Beth Keleher and Elizabeth Groendyk; and brother, Edwin (Jane) Groendyk.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Henry; and sister, Shirley.
