Mary Jane Millage, 73, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Tuesday, June 21, 2011, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Services: 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 24, 2011, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. William Harnish. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Bob; daughter, Chris Curtis of Magnolia, Texas; sisters, Isabel Giovanazzi of Cedar Rapids and Joyce Ann Ray of Pensacola, Florida; and brother, Donald Webster of Cedar Rapids.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; son, Johnnie Wayne Curtis, Jr.; brothers, Eugene, Lyle, Leonard, and Leland; sisters, Velma Morrarie, Jessie Franks and Irene Franks; and a baby brother and sister in infancy.
Born October 24, 1937, in Marion, Iowa, Mary was the daughter of Leslie and Mable (Wenger) Webster. On November 23, 1963, she was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Millage in Illinois. For 29 years she worked in food service at St. Luke’s Hospital.
Mary’s joys were crocheting, cards, camping and car races at Vinton.
