Sue was born April 2, 1935, in Spooner, Wisconsin. She graduated from Iowa State University in 1957, with a degree in Nutrition. On June 19, 1961, she married Robert Madrick in Decorah, Iowa. Over the next eight years, the couple welcomed four children into their lives. Her children remember her as a devoted and loving mother who was passionately dedicated to her family, no matter what life challenges she encountered.
Sue was extremely proud of her children and grandchildren. She loved holidays, family get-togethers, and spending time with her family. She would spend hours preparing food favorites as only she could. Sue was an incredibly strong woman who never gave up and was a role model for all who knew and loved her. She will be desperately missed.
The family would like to thank Unity Point Hospice for their dedication, support and compassionate care.
