Mary Jane Larsen, 75, of Marion, died Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids, following a sudden illness. Memorial service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 17, 2010 at Marion Christian Church by Rev. Brice Hughes. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Marion. Burial will be at a later date.
Survivors include her husband, Clark of Marion; her children, Sheila Hepker of Phoenix, AZ, Terri Covington of Phoenix, AZ, Rick (Angela) Larsen of St. Charles, MO, and Lisa (Mark) Cracraft of Urbandale; 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Tyler, Ashton, and Sydney; and a sister, Maxine Henry of Marquette.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Tommy.
Mary was born June 30, 1935 in Marquette, the daughter of Frank and Edna (Weidenbach) Matthew. On June 15, 1954, Mary was united in marriage to Clark Larsen in Rapid City, SD. She was a member of the Marion Christian Church.
A memorial fund has been established in Mary’s honor.
