Mary Ellen Koenig

Mary Ellen Koenig, 58, of the Penn Center, Delhi, Iowa, died Sunday evening, December 22, 2002, at the Regional Medical Center, Manchester, following a brief illness.
Services will be held at 1:30 pm Thursday, January 2, 2003 at the Penn Center in Delhi Iowa. Inurnment will be at the Brown Cemetery in Colesburg Iowa. Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Service was in charge of the professional arrangements.
Mary Ellen was born August 27, 1944, in Cedar Rapids, to Art E. and Estella M. (Duede) Robertson. She attended Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids. In 1959 Mary Ellen was united in marriage to Chuck Arnold, together they lived in Marion, later divorcing. She then married Larry Koenig, they resided in the Central City area until divorcing in 1967. Mary Ellen worked at Penick & Ford Products Company in Cedar Rapids.
Mary is survived by her two sisters, Iola Jones and husband Bill; Regina Mahnke and husband John, one brother Jerry Robertson, all of Cedar Rapids; and her many close friends at the Penn Center.
Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents Art and Estella Robertson; one brother, David Robertson; an infant son and special friend Howard "Red? McDowell.
