Anna Mary Jones-Windfield, 93, died, Tuesday, June 10, 2008, after complications of a stroke. Services: 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 13, 2008, at Alice United Methodist Church, Center Point by Rev. Leo Anderson. The family will greet friends from 4 ?" 8 p.m., Thursday, June 12, 2008 at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City. Burial: Alice Cemetery, Center Point, Iowa.
Survivors include a niece, Mary (Darrell) Elliott; 3 great nieces, Cory (Jeff) Cronbaugh, Trudy (Loyd) Waybill, and Melissa (Dustin) Johnson and three stepchildren, Loren (Barb) Windfield, Ramona Young, and Deanna (David) Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands and a sister, Callie Shaffer.
Mary was born April 26, 1915, the daughter of DeMott and Doretta (Notbohm) Rose, in Alburnett, Iowa. Mary married John R. Jones in 1939. He died in 1973. She later married Clarence T. Windfield in 1980. He died in 1998. Mary was a homemaker and lived in Alburnett most of her life.
