Mary Dolores Vozenilek, 71, passed away on Oct 27, 2012 at her home in Walker, Ia. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2012, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Center Point. Family will greet friends from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, October 29, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial: Davis Cemetery, rural Walker.
She is survived by her husband, William Vozenilek of Walker; mother, Emny Johnson of Walker; brother, Marvin (Karen) Johnson of Walker; children, Lorene (Tom) Spencer of Vinton, IA, Mark (Jacqualine) Peters of Billings, MT, and Michael (Melissa) Lindsey of Earlham, IA; and step children, William (Lynette) Vozenilek Jr., Chris Vozenilek, and Shelly (Mike) Novak; fourteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Loren Johnson; sister, Linda McArthur; daughter, Deanna Holsinger; and step-daughter, Tracey Vozenilek
Dolores the daughter of Loren and Emny Johnson was born May 28, 1941 in Walker. She was raised on her family farm. Dolores and her husband Bill had their own carpet laying business that they successfully ran for 20 years. She enjoyed gardening, baking for the Farmers Market, crocheting and had a deep love for her animals. She will be greatly missed.
