Mary A. Jandl, 91, of Living Center West, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died there Saturday, December 23, 2006, following a long illness. Funeral Mass: 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 27, 2006, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the church. Burial: St. John?s Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her brother-in-law, Levern Dostal of Cedar Rapids; one niece; and five nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Adeline Boland and Helen Dostal; and a brother, George Jandl.
Mary was born April 5, 1915, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Louis and Marie (Stodola) Jandl. A lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids, she worked as a secretary for Midland Farm Management for 38 years retiring in 1983.
Mary was a lifetime member of St. Wenceslaus choir, the Rosary Society, Legion of Mary Auxillary and the Sanctuary Guild. She was also a member of the Mercy Auxillary.
