Mary A. Harbaugh, 67, of Earlville, formerly of Central City, died, Friday, March 9, 2012 in Regional Medical Center, Manchester. Memorial Service: 11:00 am., Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Earlville United Parish, conducted by Pastor Jill Mack, Visitation 9:00 am. to 11:00 am prior to the service Saturday at the church. Graveside Inurnment 1:30 pm, Saturday, March 17, 2012 at Bethel Cemetery, rural Colesburg.




Clifton-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Earlville is in charge of arrangements.




Mary was born April 15, 1944 in Monticello the daughter of Daniel and Zeola ( Burlingham) Rogers. She attended country school and graduated from Central City High School in 1962. On August 22, 1965, Mary was united in marriage to Leon H. Harbaugh at the Federated Church, now the United Church of Christ, in Central City. Leon passed away on February 20, 2009. Mary worked on the family farm, as a waitress in Coggon and Oakwood Cafe in Edgewood, driver for Senior Meals, babysitting, and Community Savings Bank as a courier retiring after 10 years. She was a member of the Earlville United Parish, was a good cook, especially her fried chicken, doing craft shows with Angie, tie quilts, knitted dish cloths, and hand embroidery work.




Survivors included her daughter, Angie of Earlville; a brother Keith (Judy) Rogers of Avon, IL; sister in-laws, Letha Walters of Earlville and Jean Harbaugh of Tucson, AZ; and an Aunt Bertha Page of Marion and numerous nieces and nephews.




Mary was precede in death by her parents, her husband Leon, Mary's in-laws, Henry and Hulda Harbaugh, brother and sister in-laws, Harold and Gracie Torrey, Lyle and Veryle Harbaugh, Harold Walters, a nephew Steven Torrey, and a great niece, Elaine Torrey.




In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Mary's memory.
