Mary A. Frevert (Anderson)

Mary A. Frevert, 86, formerly of Des Moines, passed away at ManorCare Nursing Home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on January 19, 2007, from complications of Lewy Body disease. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Mary was born November 23, 1920, in Taylor County, Iowa. Her parents were Harold C. and Doris M. Anderson. She was a 1938 graduate of Red Oak High School. On September 4, 1943, she married Henry A. Frevert. Mary and Hank had a long and fruitful marriage. Mary was active in the Order of Eastern Star and was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church and its women?s group.
She is survived by her husband, Henry; her daughter, Barbara (Joseph) Hindorff of Mesa, Arizona; her sons, Dennis Frevert of Marion, Iowa, and Richard (Susan) Frevert of Plymouth, Minnesota; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to a memorial fund in her name and may be directed to: Dennis Frevert, 1415 24th St., Marion, IA 52302.
