Mary Margaret Fitzgerald, 75, of 2612 Fruitland Blvd. S.W., died Thursday, November 28, 2002, in her home, following a long illness. Memorial Services: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2002, at Kenwood Park United Methodist Church, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Rosemary Rohde. Graveside inurnment: 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2002, at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include two sons, Tim Fitzgerald and wife Larina of Cedar Rapids and Terry Fitzgerald and wife Diane of Bettendorf; two grandchildren, Ryan and Mallory Fitzgerald; three stepgrandchildren, Ian, Sean and Benjamin Flynn; and a brother, Chuck Warner and wife DeVee of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Martin; a daughter, Dianne; and two brothers, John and Bruce Warner.
Born August 2, 1927, in Fairfield, Iowa, to Walter and Wilma Woods Warner, she married Martin Charles Fitzgerald on January 14, 1951, in Rockford, Illinois. He died January 28, 1999. She was a member of Kenwood Park United Methodist Church and Carpenter?s Union Retirees.
