Mary Lou Errthum, 69, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester. A Scripture Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2020, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester. The family will greet friends following the scripture service until 8 p.m on Tuesday at the funeral home. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Manchester. The family will also greet friends from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday at the church. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Manchester.
Mary Lou was born March 30, 1950, in Dyersville, Iowa, the daughter of Aloysius and Leona (Kemp) Errthum. She graduated from West Delaware High School. Mary Lou was employed at Lewis Systems in Manchester until retiring in 2012. She is a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Mary Lou enjoyed spending time playing cards and putting together puzzles. She was a good hearted person who made friends easily.
She is survived by her siblings, James (Judy) Errthum, Merlin (Linda) Errthum, Anna Mae (Virgil) Lindauer and John (Betty) Errthum, all of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews.
Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents.
