Mary Kathleen Dillon

Mary Kathleen Dillon, 60, of 3103 Huxley Lane SW, Cedar Rapids, died Friday, November 21, 2003, in St. Luke?s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, after a long illness. Services: 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 24, 2003, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, where friends may call from 9:00 a.m. Monday until service time. The Rev. Gary Dobbins will officiate. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Donald; two sons, Michael Dillon and Jim Dillon, both of Cedar Rapids; a stepdaughter, Nancy Ludwig (Jim) Glidden; three stepgrandchildren; her sister, Carolyn and her husband, Dr. Bill Jones of Versailles, Missouri; and nephew, Matthew Jones of Columbia, Missouri.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents.
Kathleen was born December 28, 1942, the daughter of Wayne and Violet (Turnbull) Carter, in Creston, Iowa. She graduated from Mount Ayr High School in 1962, and attended Creston Community College in Creston. On May 19, 1973, she was united in marriage to Donald Dillon in Mount Ayr, Iowa. They resided in Center Point, Iowa, their first year of marriage and then moved to Cedar Rapids in June of 1974. Two sons were born by this union, Michael and James. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
