Mary J. Crippen

Mary J. Crippen, 88, a resident of Northbrook Manor Care Center in Cedar Rapids, formerly of Central City, died Sunday, June 26, 2005, at the care center, following a long illness. Private services will be conducted at a later date.
She is survived by her niece, Juanita (Louis) Slauson of Manchester and many extended family members.
Mary was born May 18, 1917, the daughter of John and Florie (VanBuskrick) Crippen at Fort Crook, Nebraska. She worked at New Process Laundry in Cedar Rapids for twenty-five years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters.
A memorial fund has been established in Mary?s memory.
