Mary C. Angell, 83, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City. Inurnment: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements with Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Elmo; her children, Tina Olson of Oregon, Teri Moore of Carrollton, Texas, Kent Angell of Cedarville, Illinois, Bruce Angell, Brenda Angell, both of Cedar Rapids, Linda Milbach of Marion and Carol Angell of Robins; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her siblings, Harold Klote, Theresa Farina, Lucille Churchwell, Jean Klote, Ruth Hettinger and Paul Klote; and her dog, Sam.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Martha Krieghauser.
Mary was born April 25, 1930, the daughter of Glenn and Olive (Thompson) Klote, in Quincy, Illinois. On August 18, 1956, she was united in marriage to Elmo Angell in Quincy. Mary loved spending time with her family and enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Mother of Twins Association and was involved with the Juvenile Diabetes Organization.
