Martin Michael Mceowen

Martin Michael McEowen, 59, of 2625 Otis Road S.E., died October 8, 2005, in his home following an extended illness. Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2005, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Bill Harnish.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia; and their children, Ronda (Kenny) Sheridan, Michael (Evelyn) Ingledue of Cedar Rapids, Timothy (Lisa) Ingledue of Gretna, Nebraska, and Sue Ann Petitt Ingledue of Detroit, Michigan.
Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Jeremy and Megan Sheridan, Samuel and Sarah Ingledue, Brian Mullens, and Steve and Kathleen Hurley; one great-grandchild, Sidney Mullens; two brothers, Chuck McEowen and special friend Mary Pates of Cedar Rapids and Jerry (Sandy) McEowen of San Rafael, California; and two sisters, Mary (Cletus) Conrad of Hiawatha and Patricia McEowen of Marion. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Martin was born the son of George and Helen (Carroll) McEowen on October 7, 1946, in Cedar Rapids. He was united in marriage to Marcia K. (Reed) Ingledue on July 22, 1995. He graduated from Washington High School and was a lifelong resident of Cedar Rapids. For 25 years, Martin, was a cab driver for Century Cab. He enjoyed bowling, the Cubs and Hawkeyes.
A memorial fund has been established in Martin?s name.
