Martha F. Zeadow, 79, of Center Point, Iowa, died Monday May 30, 2005 in Northbrook Manor Care Center, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, of complications of Parkinson?s Disease. Services:10:30 a.m.Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at Murdoch Funeral Home, Center Point by Christine Wagner Hecht. Her family will be present to greet visitors 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial: Walker Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Max; two step-daughters, Diane (Tim) Ruggles of Texas, Gerry (Al) Piper of Florida; two step-sons, Chris (Sally) Zeadow of Shellsburg and James (Peggy) Zeadow of Cedar Rapids; one sister, Gladys (Jerry) Zavodsky of Marengo; four brothers, Raymond (Grace) Kubik of Center Point, Stanley (Kay) Kubik of Walker, Gerald (Doris) Kubik of Central City and Edward (Bonnie) Kubik of Walker; and several nieces and nephews.
Martha was born near Walker on January 6, 1926, the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Strolney) Kubik. She married Max Zeadow on November 27, 1969. She was employed at Wilson?s for 36 years, retiring in 1980. Martha was an avid bowler for 30 years, loved horses, her little dogs and feeding the birds, but her greatest joy was helping others, especially her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and an infant brother,
William Kubik.
