Marshall "Ed? E. Clark, Jr., 96, of 469 Owen Street NW, Cedar Rapids, died Monday, June 19, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 23, 2006, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Jack Hooten. Family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2006, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Drumbarger of Cedar Rapids; four grandchildren, Stephanie Blahnik, Stacy (Craig) Hejda, Cynthia Clark and Bradley Clark; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and special friends, Schramp and Peiffer families.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marjorie; his son, Edgar "Dean? Clark; a grandson, Steven Douglas Clark; a sister, Marian Wilson; and a brother, Robert Clark.
Ed was born March 19, 1910, the son of Marshall and Lillian (Palmer) Clark, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. On July 31, 1932, he was united in marriage to Marjorie Black, in Galena, Illinois. A lifetime resident of Cedar Rapids, Ed worked at Russell Guide?s Inc. for 34 years. He was active with the Iowa Wildlife Federation and National Wildlife Federation. Ed enjoyed traveling, fishing, reading, working crossword puzzles, cooking and loved being with his family.
