Marsha L. Sherbon, 67, of Walker, Iowa, died Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at her home. A visitation will be held from 2 - 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Center Point, Iowa. Funeral Mass will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Walker.

Marsha was born November 15, 1956, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Loren and Shirley (Jingles) Anderson. She was united in marriage to Joseph Gerard Sherbon on July 24, 1976, in Cedar Rapids. Marsha worked numerous jobs, most recently with Casey’s General Store in Walker, making donuts and pizza. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a volunteer at Center Point Heights.

Marsha cherished every moment spent with her family, particularly with her beloved grandchildren. Her love for her family was boundless and evident in every aspect of her life. She cherished family gatherings and created countless cherished memories through her dedication to making each occasion special. Whether it was holidays, special shopping trips, or just spending time together.

Always ready to lend a helping hand, she had a natural ability to make others feel welcome and valued, thanks to her infectious smile and cheerful demeanor. Marsha had a passion for gardening, baking, and solving crossword puzzles, along with watching her favorite TV shows. Her creativity shone through in her love for decorating and interior design, where her crafty skills truly excelled.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Sherbon of Walker; daughter, Beth Ann (Travis) Andrew of Hiawatha, Iowa; son, Joseph (Sarah) Sherbon of Marion, Iowa; grandchildren, Eve, Louis, and Sylvia Sherbon; mother, Shirley Anderson of Cedar Rapids; siblings, Wayne (Julie) Anderson, Patty (Richard) Sedlacek, and Brian (Tina) Anderson, all of Cedar Rapids; in-laws, Mary (Frank) Swiderski of Cedar Rapids, Jane (Jim) Meisheid, Will Sherbon, all of Walker, Joann Auld, John (Becky) Sherbon, all of Cedar Rapids, and Ruth (Tim) Kriz of Marion; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Loren Anderson; brother, Larry Anderson; and mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ruthmary and Joseph Sherbon.

A memorial fund has been established in Marsha’s name.
