Marlys J. Maske, 76, of Marion, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010, at Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion. Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2010 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Marion by Rev. Greg Williamson. Family will greet friends one hour prior to services at the church. Inurnment: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements by: Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion.
Marlys is survived by her two sons, John (Linda) Maske and Mark Maske; 3 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren, Jordan and Jaden Maske; a sister, Geraldine Burian; and a brother, Dave Stanbro.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard Maske; a great-grandchild, Jasmine; and 2 sisters.
Marlys was born November 8, 1933 in Iowa Falls, the daughter of Thomas and Verna (Wilabey) Stanbro. She worked as a clerk at the Marion Library for 25 years. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and loved spending time with her family.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Marlys name.
