Mark L. Rae, 69, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospice, Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, with his loving family at his side. Arrangements by: Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Private services will be held at a later date.
Survivors include his devoted sister and caregiver, Mary Rae of Cedar Falls, Iowa; brothers, Russell Rae of Central City, Iowa and David Rae of Portland, Oregon; sisters, Susie Powers, Gail (Larry) Blum, and Kathy Murdoch all of Marion, Iowa and Laura Rae of Chiang Mai, Thailand; and many nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen L. Rae; and his nephew, Brett Murdoch.
Mark had a delightful sense of humor, a very compassionate heart, and brought joy to many. He will be missed.
