Mark Alvin Fulmer, 68, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024, in Clarksville, Tennessee. The family will host a Celebration of Life Service at 1 p.m. on February 10, 2024, at New City Church, 5335 Midway Drive NW, Cedar Rapids, with a meal to immediately follow at the church. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, assisted the family.

Mark was born January 22, 1956, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, the son of Johnie and Meredith (Carter) Fulmer. He graduated from Urbana High School in 1974. Mark married Amber Root, they later divorced. On December 9, 1989, Mark was united in marriage to Teresa Kern in Waterloo, Iowa. He was a pastor at Prairie Drive Full Gospel Church for many years. Mark was an extremely skilled diesel mechanic with many dedicated customers. He loved riding his Harley, especially with his family, and the fellowship with others that included fundraising for children. Mark truly enjoyed working with his son, Matthew, and his morning coffee chats with his daughter April. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Teresa Fulmer; sons, Jason Chambers, and Matthew (Michelle) Fulmer, all of Cedar Rapids; daughter, April (Robert) Bent of Newton, Iowa; and grandchildren, Blain, Blake, Morgan, Elizabeth, Ryan, Bryce, and Maryea.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Amber; and his cousin, Steve Fulmer.
