Mark M. Aves

Mark M. Draves, 45, of 1840 Daleview Dr., died Friday, December 30, 2005, at home, following a short illness. A celebration of life will begin at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2006, at Marion Christian Church by Rev. Robert Kunz. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements by Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion.
Survivors include his maternal grandparents, Al and Reva Trumper of Marion; his parents, Ronald and Beverly Draves of Marion; his brother, David Draves Sr. of Marion; two sons, Damien and Ian Draves, both of Marion; and five nieces and nephews, David, Jr., Elizabeth, Averyona, Olivia and Christian Draves.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harry and Elizabeth Draves.
Mark was born September 2, 1960, the son of Ronald and Beverly (Trumper) Draves in Cedar Rapids. He owned and operated Relic Records for several years. Mark loved music, writing poems and short stories. He enjoyed spending time with his family, children and nieces and nephews. Mark was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial fund has been established for his children?s education.
