Marjorie "Marge? Schatzle, 75, of Kansas City, Missouri, formerly of Alburnett, died Wednesday, November 12, 2003, at North Kansas City Hospital. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, November 17, 2003, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion, Iowa by Rev. Dan Peterson. Visitation from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Survivors include her husband, Eugene "Gene?; a sister, Betty Spear of Arcadia, California; her son, David Schatzle and wife Flo of Kansas City, Kansas; her daughter, Patricia Judge and husband Frank of Trimble, Missouri; two grandsons, Chris Smith and Tony Smith and wife Eva; and three great-grandchildren, Johnny, Megan and Dylan.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Marge was born February 27, 1928, the daughter of Clarence and Harriet (Moore) Stahly, in Alburnett, Iowa. On July 19, 1946, she married Eugene Schatzle in Coggon, Iowa.
