Marjorie “Betty” A. Branning, 35, of Center Point, Iowa, died April 30, 2007, in University of Iowa Hospitals, in Iowa City from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Services: 10:00 a.m., Friday, May 4, 2007, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. Jack Kendall. The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2007, at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Cory; her parents; three children, Jami Lynn Randall, Stephen Gene Randall and Lindsey Helene Randall all at home; four brothers, Robbie Randall of Seattle, Washington, Jamie (Tara) Randall of Center Point, Trever (Stacey) Randall of Vinton and Chad (Crystal) Randall of Vinton; three sisters, Tammy (Jim) Randall-Osborn of Vinton, Tracy (Tom) Latteyer of Shellsburg and Jody Lawrence (Mark Fulmer) of Alburnett; her mother-in-law, Monica Hike of Garrison, father-in-law, Arden Branning of Carroll and two special friends, Rouge and Copper, her dogs.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Robin Ann; her grandparents, Bud McClean, Daisey and Jim Riley and Noel and Babe Randall.
Marjorie was born October 13, 1971, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Donald and Barbara (McClean) Randall. On June 29, 2005, she married Cory Branning in Vinton. She was a waitress at the Village Inn for 15 years.
She loved campfires, fishing and the great outdoors.
Marjorie will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
