Marilyn Rae Neuhaus, 73, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away unexpectantly at her home on Saturday, July 9, 2022. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Manchester.
Marilyn was born July 11, 1948, the daughter of Ralph and Betty Neuhaus of Manchester. She graduated from West Delaware High School in 1966. Marilyn and Lester Chapman were together for 40 plus years. They had four sons together, Lester Jr., and Tim Chapman both of Manchester and Allen and Michael who are both are deceased. Marilyn enjoyed get togethers with family and friends, playing Bingo, Yahtzee and going out to eat.
Marilyn is survived by her sons, Lester Jr. (Moe) Chapman, Tim Chapman: grandsons, Austin Coleman and Blake Chapman Burger; and her sister, Joyce Johnson, of Manchester.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph Sr., and Betty; Lester Chapman Sr.; sons, Allen Eugene and Michael; siblings, twin sister, Carolyn, Linda, Rosemary; brother, Ralph Jr; and brother-in-law, Gary Johnson.
