Marian F. Larrabee, 81, of Marion, died Monday, October 10, 2011, at Manor Care in Cedar Rapids. Funeral Mass: 11:30 a.m., Thursday, October 13, 2011, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids with visitation one hour prior to services. Family will greet friends from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion with a Vigil beginning at 4 p.m. Burial: Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband; four children, James (Susan) Larrabee of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Albert (Dolores) Larrabee of Derry, Pennsylvania, Ronald (Lydia) Larrabee of Jacksonville, Florida, and Corinne (Dennis) Nebraska of Marion; grandchildren, Alan (Erin) Larrabee, Gordon Larrabee, David (Jennifer) Larrabee, Douglas (Candace) Nebraska, Christopher (Rosetta) Nebraska, and Jennifer (David) Tiede, Denise (Douglas) Epps and Darcie (CR) Rossi; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Michael (Ann) Frick of Daytona Beach, FL, Anthony (Patricia) Frick of Pittsburgh, PA, Gloria (Joseph) Sible of Uniontown, PA, Margaret (Raymond) Dunaway of Lemont Furnace, PA; and sisters-in-law, Regina Frick of Dunbar, PA and Helen Frick of Pittsburgh, PA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Joseph, John, Nicholas, and Patricia Ann Frick.
Marian was born February 15, 1930, in Dunbar, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Michael and Elda Mary (Piccioni) Frick. On December 31, 1947, she was united in marriage to Everett Charles Larrabee at St. Aloysius Church in Dunbar, Pennsylvania. Marian was a former member of the Altar-Rosary Society, and a member and director of the St. Aloyius Women’s Choir.
