Marguerite E. Francisco (Sanders)

Marguerite E. Francisco, 101, a resident of Hiawatha Care Center, Hiawatha, died Saturday, June 14, 2008, at the care center following complications of age. Memorial service will be held at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, at a later date. Inurnment: Evergreen Cemetery in Vinton, at a later date.
Survivors include a niece, Jackie (Lyle) Svoboda of Cedar Rapids and many other nieces and nephews. Jackie and Lyle were Marguerite’s care givers for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Ellen Marie Jarmon; and four sisters, Bessie Mason, Gladys Ferguerson, Grace Elvina Fuehrer, and Anita Langham.
Marguerite was born December 26, 1906, the daughter of Earl and Myrtle (Bolton) Sanders in Vinton, Iowa. On February 2, 1947, she was united in marriage to Clarence Francisco in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Marguerite worked various jobs and retired from Francisco Farm Fresh Eggs after 20 years of service. She was a member of the Oak Grove Christian Church, Shellsburg.
