Margaret O. Annis (O'Connor)

Margaret O. Annis, 92, of Central City, died Monday, March 18, 2013, at her home. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Central City by Rev. Vicki Engelmann. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. Burial: Mt. Clark Cemetery, Central City.
Survivors include her son, Gerald (Pat) Annis; daughter-in-law, Helen Annis; grandchildren, Kevin Annis, Lorna Dreeves, and Christine (Kevin) Anderson; great-grandchildren, Linsey (Thomas) Eiben, Kimberly (Matt) Johnson, Nicholas Anderson, and Samantha Annis; and great-great-grandchildren Parker Johnson, Addison Eiben, and Mason Eiben.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale; son, Loren Annis; sisters, Doris, Ellen, and Catherine; and brother, Walter.
Margaret was born September 24, 1920, in Central City, Iowa, the daughter of Hugh and Bertha (Mann) O’Connor. She married Dale Annis in 1938, in Coggon. Dale died in November, 1965. Margaret worked as an assembly operator for Rockwell Collins for nearly 30 years. She took great pride in, and loved her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren very much.
