Margaret Ann Clarke, 61, of Springville, died Friday, January 03, 2003, at St. Luke?s Hospital, following a sudden illness. Services: 11 a.m. Monday, January 6, 2003, at First Assembly of God, Cedar Rapids, by Rev. Rick Gail. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Center in Marion. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Danny; their children, Tammy Mysak and husband Kevin and their children, Nicholas, Amanda and Emily of Whittier, Chris Clarke and wife Tami Jo and their children, Brittany and Andrew of Springville, Brian Clarke and wife Jan and their children, Dylan and Justin of Lisbon, Suzanne Kremer and husband Gregg of Aurora, Nebraska, Katie Heeren and husband Michael and their children, Blake and Colin of Mt. Vernon; her mother-in-law, Ruth Clarke of Cedar Rapids; five sisters, Maxine Hukill, Jerry Zita and husband Stan, Dorothy Rogers, Norma Leonard and Janice Bunch, all of Missouri; a brother, Harry Bartle and wife Jeno of Kentucky; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Billie; and her father-in-law, H. Jack Clarke.
Margaret was born June 4, 1941, the daughter of William and Goldie (Canard) Bartle in Rolla, Missouri. She married Danny Clarke in 1960 at the Springville United Methodist Church. Margaret worked for Rockwell Collins for 18 years as an executive secretary. She was then a Real Estate Agent for Century 21, retiring in 2000. Margaret will be greatly missed by her family, friends and horses.
