Marcia L. Level, 72, of 3545 E. Ave., NW, Apt. 12, Cedar Rapids, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy, Hiawatha. Memorial Services: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, by Chaplain Joe Kane. Inurnment: Linwood Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Cameron (Angel) Walker of Toddville and Guerin Walker of West Virginia; one grandson, Jordan Walker; one sister, Linda (Joseph) Jordan Sweeney of Cape Cod, MA.; aunt, Maxine Gordon of Cedar Rapids; cousin; Richard Steffens of Illinois and Florida; many nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles; good friends, Mike and Larry.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dorothy Lois (Kunz) and Soren Clifford Hansen and her husband Fred Level.
Marcia was born August 1, 1939, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She married Robert Walker and later divorced. She later married Fred Level. Marcia worked for Armstrongs; Killians; Midland Security; the Post Office and Taco Johns. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and the Postal Union. Marcia loved to fish, especially at Spirit Lake. Her greatest joys were her children, gardening, flowers, music, wild life and reading.
