Marcia A. Ingledue, 73, of Elberon, Iowa, died Monday, June 24, 2013, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Private family services will be held at a later date. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Terry; children, Allan (Lisa) Ingledue of Pensacola, Florida, Theresa Tapley of Oregon City, Oregon, Marcia Ann Holley of Pace, Florida, and Charles Ingledue of Pensacola, Florida; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; son-in-law, Gene Faircloth of Pensacola, Florida; sisters, Ann (Jim) Arnold of Pensacola, Florida, and Jan Corgey of Texas; and brother, Peter Bell of Pensacola, Florida.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Wendy Faircloth.
Born January 14, 1940, in Pensacola, Florida, Marcia was the daughter of Felix and Frances (Garrett) Bell. She graduated from high school in Pensacola and then attended the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. On October 7, 1966, she was united in marriage to Terry Ingledue in Brewton, Alabama. Marcia worked for the credit bureau in Pensacola and after her marriage the couple lived in Spain and Florida while Terry served in the U.S. Navy, returning to Iowa in 2002.
Marcia was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed collecting pig figurines. In her younger years she also enjoyed bowling. Marcia was always friendly and never met a stranger.
