Mabel B. Wagner, 100, a resident of Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center, Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, June 23, 2005, at the care center. Services: 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2005, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. by the Rev. Joan Erbe. The family will greet friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2005, at the funeral home. Burial: Czech National Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors include her children, Thomas McDonald and Shirley (Bernard) Drahozal, all of Cedar Rapids; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Marcella McCune; and her brothers and sisters, Forrest Fifield, John Fifield, May Crippen, Clara Pavlovsky, Beulah Tanner and Howard Fifield.

Mabel was born March 10, 1905, the daughter of George and Annie Burgess Fifield, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. For 26 years, she worked at the Wilson?s Food Plant. Mabel was a member of the Rebecca Lodge, Moose Lodge, Academy of Friendship and the P3 Retirees. She loved to travel and shop with her best friend, Leone Misel.

Memorials may be directed to the Kenwood Park United Methodist Church, 302 33rd Street NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402 in memory of Mabel.
