Mabel M. Millburn (Buchheim)
September 24, 1918 — August 21, 2006
Mabel M. Millburn, 87, of 2001 Lauren Drive S.W., Cedar Rapids, died August 21, 2006, in Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids, of a sudden illness. There will be no services at this time. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2006, at the home of Tony and Roxanne Millburn.
Survivors include two children, Nedra Jacqueline Millburn and Tony T. (Roxanne) Millburn both of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Brandt of Oelwein, Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; three brothers; and three sisters.
Mabel was born September 24, 1918, in Clayton Center, Iowa, the daughter of Otto and Alma (Rickoffer) Buchheim. On August 1, 1942, in Kahoka, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Faye Everett Millburn. He died in 1988. She worked for Wilson?s and Company for 30 years retiring in 1980. Mabel enjoyed browsing estate sales, tag sales and auctions and later in life treasured her special times she spent with her granddaughter, Jamison (Jamie).
